Stacy Manes
About
Similar to the founder of the Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr., LLC, Senior Paralegal, Stacy Manes always knew she was headed for a career in law. Ms. Manes chose one of the best paralegal programs in which to enroll at Marist College located right here in the Mid Hudson Valley. Ms. Manes successfully completed the American Bar Association approved Paralegal Program at Marist College and received her Paralegal Certification in January of 1998. In a consistent effort to broaden her base of knowledge in the law and to add to her diverse background, Ms. Manes also obtained her Certification in Alternative Dispute Resolution in 1997. But Ms. Manes' achievements in academia did not stop there. In May of 1999, Ms. Manes graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree also from Marist College.
Armed with her extensive education, Stacy knew that to reach her goal of Senior Litigation Paralegal she would need to gain substantial additional training and experience. So she accepted a position as Court Assistant for the Rockland County Supreme Court, New City, New York. To flourish as a Court Assistant for the Rockland County Supreme Court, Ms. Manes called upon her stellar organizational skills and attention to detail. As Court Assistant, Ms. Manes became a master at multi-tasking, managing multiple court calendars, scheduling a multiplicity of court actions while accepting and examining a voluminous amount of court filings. In 2000, Stacy continued to challenge herself by transitioning to a Legal Secretary Position at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office. There, Ms. Manes began to sharpen her ability to create superlative written legal work product while gaining valuable litigation experience. While at the District Attorney’s Office, Stacy, among other tasks, created, organized, transcribed and maintained Felony Indictments, examined legal documents for sufficiency and maintained case history files while working closely with the public, attorneys and court personnel. But Ms. Manes' vast prior legal experience does not stop there. Stacy went on to amass over 10 years of additional litigation experience, including but not limited to, 6 years as a Litigation Paralegal with the law office of Duggan, Crotty & Dunn, P.C. as well as 4 years as a Senior Litigation Paralegal with Meth Law Offices, P.C. At Duggan, Crotty & Dunn, Ms. Manes further honed her legal research and writing skills, conducting legal research regarding various legal issues and drafting multiple different types of legal documents ranging from general legal correspondence to motions, affidavits and memoranda of law. Thereafter, at Meth Law Offices, in true Stacy fashion, she immersed herself in her cases, fully accepting the responsibilities that came along with her newly minted title of Senior Litigation Paralegal. She knew what would be expected of her as a Senior Litigation Paralegal: create stellar legal written work product, conduct thorough, efficient legal research upon a number of different topics, organize and manage complex case files from filing through trial or settlement, conduct client and witness interviews, act as liaison between attorney and client and, maybe most importantly, report directly to the senior managing partner acting not only as the most trusted of legal professionals but also providing invaluable legal information and case insights. As expected, Stacy excelled in the Senior Litigation Paralegal role.
In 2010, Stacy Manes was chosen to join the Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr., LLC and is one of the most senior members of our team of legal professionals. Hiring Stacy Manes remains one of the best business decisions the Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr., LLC has ever made. From day one, Ms. Manes quickly became one of our most valued team members. As Senior Litigation Paralegal, Stacy Manes is the centerpiece of our highly educated, experienced team of legal professionals.

While Stacy is not an attorney and cannot advocate in court, she can be your greatest advocate in your Divorce or Family Law Litigation case. Stacy is a master with words. From behind her keyboard, Stacy does not simply generate stellar legal written work product, she makes your case come to life. She translates your most compelling legal and factual arguments into a logical format with which the presiding judge is most likely to empathize. Stacy Manes has truly reached the pinnacle of her profession. Her legal research and writing skills are significantly better than most lawyers.
After two decades of litigation experience Stacy knew something was missing. There had to be a way to reach a fair resolution, between two parties, to a divorce action without the need for litigation. There had to be a way she could use her vast knowledge and experience to work directly with BOTH parties to a Divorce to reach an effective and efficient result. So, in 2021, Stacy Manes completed both the Mediation and Advanced Mediation training to become a certified Divorce Mediator. Having recently welcomed her seventh grandchild into the world, Stacy knows nothing is more important than family and that is why she has always and will always put family first! Not just her own, but the families of our clients as well. Stacy knows that with just a little professional guidance most divorcing couples can find mutually acceptable solutions to even the most complex and/or difficult problems. Mediation allows spouses to tailor their agreement to the very specific facts and circumstances of their situation. Divorce mediation has become one of Stacy's new passions and for good reason. After all, there is no one in a better position to make decisions about your family and your future than you and your husband or wife.
