Andrea Fournier
About
Ms. Fournier moved from Cooperstown, New York to the Hudson Valley in 2013 to attend SUNY New Paltz. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree majoring in Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies with a minor in Law and Politics. While earning her degree, she also interned at Grace Smith House, a non-profit domestic violence agency that serves Dutchess County. There, her role as a court advocate and an assistant court liaison proved a powerful introduction to Family Law and the Family Court System.
After working several years as a bartender, manager, and event planner at a busy restaurant, Ms. Fournier decided to combine her skills of communication, organization, and attention to detail with her long-standing interest in Law and pursue a career as a paralegal. She enrolled in the American Bar Association approved Paralegal Certificate program in 2020 and was hired as a receptionist at the Law Office of Dennis Vetrano Jr., LLC in March of 2021. Andrea’s dedication, compassion, and aptitude have allowed her to grow and thrive. She has now achieved the first of many goals in the legal field—receiving a Paralegal Certificate and becoming a Family Law Paralegal.
Every day at DRV law, Ms. Fournier’s empathy affirms her daily commitment to skillfully support each and every client that walks through the door.
