Jared DeRosso

Jared DeRosso, Esq., is an Of-Counsel Attorney at the Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr., LLC and focuses his practice primarily on divorce and other family law matters.

EDUCATION & LEGAL CAREER

Mr. DeRosso graduated from Albany Law School in 2012 and has been admitted to practice before all New York state courts since 2013. He has performed trials, made Court appearances in Supreme and Family Court, and performed depositions as a Senior Attorney and an Associate Attorney at various law firms in New City, New York. These positions also allowed him to gain experience negotiating numerous settlements in complicated matrimonial and family law matters.

In 2022, Jared began Of Counsel work for a firm in New Jersey, assisting them with their New York matrimonial and family law matters. He drafted memorandums of law, Pendente Lites, Orders to Show Cause, affidavits, affirmations, and other applications in this area of law. At the same time he opened his own firm DeRosso Law, P.C. to continue his commitment to divorce and family law.

Throughout his career, Jared has appeared in many different courts in the State of New York, including in Rockland, Westchester, New York, Bronx, Kings, Queens, Suffolk, Orange, Dutchess, and Sullivan Counties, and has argued before the Appellate Division, Second Department in Brooklyn, New York.

A significant portion of Jared's client base is made up of area residents who are seeing their marriages come to an end and who are thus having to deal with such divorce-related issues as the division of complex assets and debts, child custody and visitation, maintenance/alimony and child support.

A forceful courtroom advocate for his clients when litigation is necessary, he often helps them avoid the stress and uncertainty of a trial by encouraging them to come to an accord on these issues through the negotiation of a settlement agreement. For his clients whose marriages have already been dissolved, Jared appears with them in court when they are seeking the enforcement of or modifications to existing parenting and support orders, and for those who are considering getting married, he prepares and reviews prenuptial agreements.

Jared chose to join the Law Office of Dennis R. Vetrano, Jr., LLC as Of Counsel in 2024. His knowledge of divorce and family law is invaluable as he can assist staff attorneys and paralegals with our goal of helping clients move on to the next chapter of their lives.
